I do not know what my freaking problem has been, but here goes with this blogging thing again...so yeah, we moved to Arizona and yeah, we're knocked up and yeah, we're having a boy. All of these things = good. Yay!
No pictures exist of my fat hairy belly, so don't ask!
Congratulations you two! As the mom of two precious little boys (and new girl) - they are great! TONS of energy but lots of love. You guys will be great! Miss you ~lm
Holy crap batman! Move and preggers?! Wow! Congrats and to put things into perspective for you little Riley is driving now. What is he driving you ask. Remember my dad's pickup truck. I'll give you and Chris a call soon if your cell number is the same.
Later,
-B
Where the heck have you been!? Email me: betsy.yates@gmail.com.
Here's what I need to know...is Riley driving the white truck with the mosquito sticker that says, "Send more Yankees - they are delicious"?
Hi! I found you through Mary's blog :0) I just wanted to welcome you to the furnace known as AZ!!
I totally had a "boy feeling" about you. A little Chris Jr. A little man with a little weiner...which btw, they get little stiffies when you change them. At first it's creepy, but then you are relieved that his little man parts work.
I'm so happy for you two. Cheers!
Omygosh! A boy!!! Wow! So, lots of knitting in blues, yes?
*grin*
Anne.
But you still have to teach me how to knit, Anne!
Hey! Welcome to the valley! I looked through the AZ blogs but didn't find much, I'm glad you found me. congrats on being pregnant. I'm 5 months too!
As far as why I don't want an epidural.... no one has really asked me that question so I don't have a pat answer :) Good question. I guess I really feel like maternity and delivery are treated like an illness here in America rather than a normal part of life. I'm thankful for the advances in medicine which have enabled the majority of women to deliver without fatality for themselves or their children, I realize that wasn't the case two generations ago. It's just that I don't want all of the unnecessary crap. I don't want tons of drugs, to be cut unnecessarily, or my labor to be sped up with Pitossin just so the doctor can make other previously planned apts.
I'm with you on keeping an eye out for the reason behind why docs advise what they do. I would like both a midwife and an OB, please! They can keep each other in check! :)
Thanks for your welcome. We've only been here a couple weeks, but we likey!
Yea! I'm so happy for you both! We can't wait to see y'all, now that we're on the same side of the country again.
Regarding epidurals, watch "The Business of Being Born"--enlightening stuff on the goodness of midwifery.
