But I'm not sugar-coating my desire to control society in hugs, bunnies, and singing Kumbayah, either. I'm totally tired of both liberals and conservatives telling others how they should live, and I'm sick and tired of tolerating it. I hate and am intolerant of social engineers across the entire spectrum. If anyone's got a problem with me for that, well, it sucks to be you.
I think we should do away with the debate and not have any governmental status for marriage, gay or straight. Marriage and family as an institution predates the modern nation-state, the ancient concepts of kingdom and empire, and every major world religion. Politicians and clerics alike should butt their ugly unwanted noses out of it.
